Last year it was only crucial injuries that cost us. Sandow is back to his best form that he displayed at the Rabbits. This year we have Norman, Peats & Hoppa stepping out for their second season at the club plus a number of young players heading for their second season in the top grade. Add in a number of promising juniors then top it off with Watmough & I'm really looking forward to this season. Personally I'm getting sick of all the pipe dreaming about 2016 & beyond.
Has anyone fathomed the idea of what happens if this year Norman or even Matto step up in the 5/8 role playing blinders & lead us to the 2015 premiership? We just say thanks very much than tell them to get on their bike? Or do we pay someone $5M to play Wenty?
I wish the club, players & fans would all start focusing on this season.

Foran may have made his decision and out of respect has requested that it won't be announced until after round 1 so not to disrupt manlys prep against us...
Foran has not signed on the dotted line as yet. That's fact.
I'm a fan. I'm thinking about what could happen this year, next year, in 5 years time, potentially in 10 years time.
If Matto or Norman step up at left half this year then we'll either move one of them over to the right or we'll move Foran over to the right and just not re-sign Sandow.

Do you mean 2 new signings?
Very nicely. We're covered for the next few years if we play our cards correctly.
On the argument of juniors if our production is as good as I think it is then we'll have more in our SG Ball team that will be able to cover if we do lose an NYC player. Plus Foran is 1/25 players in our squad, there's heaps of room for another junior to take the spot of say: Takairangi, Champion, Robinson, Sandow, Wicks etc who are all off-contract next year. If a player is good enough we'll find a spot for them in our Top 17.
Only issue at the moment is fullback for next year. That is a very tough decision.
Agree on juniors. Lets make sure that we retain the ones that really need to be retained and cut loose excess like Loko and Tanginoa.
One positive is with those one year contract, juniors aren't being forced in to first grade before they are ready, which has been a real problem for the last 5 years (if not more).
Hopefully Goodall, Folau and Lavaka can keep developing in Wenty and really push for a first grade spot come the back end of the season.
ahhh WTF more rumours, seriously cant take this...We need a team list to settle things down.
