It's a beautiful Monday, the sun is shining and it feels like there is something in the air for us Parra supporters. I noticed while having my morning coffee that there is a spring in my step as well as other Parra fans at my local cafe.
What a great come from behind victory over the Saints yesterday, we certainly continue to have the wood on them, much like Canberra have over us.
After again waited the whole weekend to see the team run out, this one felt really good.
Early days yet but it looks like the Eels now have a fortress in Bank West Stadium and will be very competitive, if not favourites everytime they play there and if Parra can win half of their games away from home we could be firmly in the top 8.
If we navigate well our next couple of months which are pretty tricky we should have a very strong finish to the season.
Starting with a round 16 bye our following nine matches (tigers, manly x 2, knights, broncs, dogs, titans, dragons, warriors) are favourable and we could be battling for a top 4 finish with a home semi.
On top of our positive start to the season and what lay ahead I think the prized signatures of certain people will come soon.
