Happy Birthday to the Zip Zip man

Steve Ella, the constant no.4 in the Eels 81, 82, 83 & 86 premierships, celebrates his birthday today. I never got the chance to see Ella play, though my dad would talk about him endlessly as much as he did Kenny, Sterling, Price, Cronin and Grothe. An origin centre and a one club man. Just wish we could have a centre pairing like Ella and Cronin back in the day, hell even a team like the 80's all over again.
