  nicko thats cool - but 24 years waiting for a premiership , this is not how its done , Ihavent seen any positive since grandfinal loss , only 1 win and that was a fluke . IMA EELS 0-7 NOT 1-7 .

  Don't worry too much - I was born in 1973, and have been following hem for the past 30 years! Stay strong - it will come!

  Good blog mate, hopefully this will cool people's heads a bit, including my own. I'd just put it this way, theres questions that need to be asked of the players and all the ranting and raving we do on here isn't gonna make things any better.

  At my local golf course I stuff the fourth hole every time without fail. Have for 10 years. The Eels, they stuff the first 10 rounds, have for 20 years. Speak to me in June.

  we need to stop making excuses for them
  they show a lack of urgency and committment and need a kick up the arse for these below par efforts
  cayless, mateo and poore in particular have done absolutely nothing!!!

  no positives when we have been totally outplayed and outenthuised for 2 3/4 games out of 3!!! they need to pull their fingers out

  He's not making excuses for them, he's just saying that we have had good (albeit short) periods during our games, which shows we aren't a right off and that when we do find consistency (which we all should be hopeing for), we'll enjoy a good season. I'd rather see more of this stuff than the doom and gloom most other people are posting. I'm all for being critical of our team, that's good means for discussion, but chiming in with 'so and so did absolutely nothing' and the team needs a 'kick up the arse' doesn't contribute anything.
