Handling

I don't have to tell any supporter that our main problem is poor handling, pathetic comes to mind. Unfortunately saw all grades today and bad handling is the common factor in all teams.

The whole NYC side looks disinterested and needs wholesale changes, Davis is sadly completely out of form.

The Wenty side played well for about 45 minutes, scored 24 points, and then decided to do everything in its power to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory, welcome North Sydney.

And enough has been said about the first grade problems.

The point is HOW IS IT TO BE FIXED????

  • Sterlo backed us to make the finals so I don't know where you got the "Struggle without Hayne" part.

  • Arthur spoke about this in the press conference, saying that the players needed to just shelve the offload at times. Take the tackle then set up and go again. I know some people will use this as a chance to have a go at the coaching staff, but you can only tell the players not to do anything stupid so many times. The rest is up to the players. So many times at the Titans did we get a decent offload, roll down field only for another player to attempt a really low percentage offload or pass and cough up the ball. We need to play the percentages more. Ball security needs to be of the utmost importance.

  • Davis is one of the better NYC players we have, he's hardly out of form. He just has a lot of below average players surrounding him.

    • Ham I have been a big Davis supporter since first seeing him play. His form this year has been extremely poor compared to last year so far. Yes the whole team is struggling as stated and maybe that is affecting him but I can't remember one break or a good pass from him to get support players away like he did last year.

  • It is very hard to get space when you only have 3 forwards making metres and halves that aren't willing to give you early ball. If he was in a better team, like any outside back, he would be doing a lot better and we saw that last year.

What I will say Kearney never amounted to much as a head coach and probably was just an assistant at best."
