I saw the reconfigured Gunners twice after the breakup of the original band. They had 3 blokes playing Slash's part and broke the solos up.
Slash has more feeling and warmth, Hammett is more clinical and surgical, both great, its apples and oranges i recon.
Agree, Slash has roots in blues and is a lot more versatile
