It is easy to put the boot in but as an objective review of tonight's game, it shows that Parra do not have the leadership to win a comp. MM is in discussion in regards to SoO selection, but can't move the side around to win a game that really should have been won. DB went missing in action because he can't set up his backline as all he does ins run. Maybe it is the coach that can't develop an attack plan but really, BA has a half stopping to pass, kicking as your only option and not taking on the line because you can't direct people to run lines and choose the right option at $800k a year, as well as a 5/8th that runs and can't pass. DB needs to be moved to centre, MM is a 5/8th that is playing half, and we have Paulo who has more ball playing skills then DB.
I love BAs commitment to Parra and his love for the club, but we will never win a comp with BA. As much as I wish that Parra can keep BA, win a comp and develop a dynasty, I think that he is in the Brian Smith mold, where we need a Wayne Bennet style of coach to get us across the line.

Halves did nothing. For a player in the mix for an origin jumper, Mitch did nothing. We all know he can run when he wants to, so in such an important game, where was he? All he did was kick. As for Brown. ??????
Did you not see the Panthers line speed ?
What exactly did you expect from Mitch tonight ?
Hecwasnt ever going to set up a dozen tries, tonight was always going to be a grind, and if it wasn't for Mitch we wouldn't have been able to take the game as deep as we did. Anybody who can't see that does not want to.
Agree. Sad that he missed the kick. And I think I will trust more the opinions of Cronk, Brandy and Sterlo in regards to his chances for SOO selection. Let's wait whne the team is announced.
Point taken Brett. I would just like him to run more. We all know he can do it. I just get very tired of the fact that all we seem to have is 5 plays up, and then kick, but I bow to you better technical knowledge of the game, which is better than mine.
Maybe I was a little harsh on you PP.... it seems that you now understand that you didn't understand. Lol
Parrapete, you have been around long enough to know better.
Everything that Brett just said and more, said it already, Moses kicks the goal he is man of the match.
"All he did was kick. As for Brown????" those quotes should just about get you into any dementure ward you want to aim for!
Any other half, and Penrith would be starting their sets from the 40m line. We were dominated in the ruck area, we were dominated in line speed, Moses' kicks really made the difference in keeping us in that match for as long as we did.
I'd be more worried about our captain throwing a intercept when it was never on that shifted the momentum, and a forward pass at the end.
I agree! The Eels don't have the artillery or the tactician to win a premiership. They might continue to play finals but that's it.
You agree with whoever will be friends with you
If you'll be my friend I'll agree with you too Brett. How does that sound? Deal or no deal?
