  Norman goes and our season is over. Now guess which player just became one of the most targeted players in the NRL.  But hey, lets keep signing no ones and forwards.

  i think we need a half, someone like cronk, adam reynolds, a genuine number 7 who can kick and steer a team around the park. Nathan clearly would be absolutly perfect if you ask me. Whenever he comes off contract he should be parra's no1 priority.

    NAME JUST ONE  who we can realistically approach and be confident of signing.

    Who the feck is Nathan clearly and what makes you think we can get him?

    I have been putting out the challenge to name a top shelf organising half that we could go after and still NO replies.

    Just these dream chasing figments of people's nightmares get named.

    NO team is going to release a good organising half - get used to the idea you lot are dreaming.

    Luke Brooks, Fa'amanu Brown, Mitch Cornish, Zach Dockar-Clay, Michael Doolan, Jaelen Feeney, Ata Hingano, Ryley Jacks, Shaun Johnson, Luke Kelly, Kyle Laybutt, Mason Lino, Josh McCrone, Anthony Milford, Darren Nicholls, Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad, Jordan Rankin, Tyrone Roberts, Jeff Robson, Johnathan Thurston, Gareth Widdop

    Of these the only ones likely to change clubs are the also rans.

    Widdop (who is a possibility) is more a 5/8 and very similar to Norman.

  It would help if norman ran straight, he ran sideways all night and got belted every time like he deserved to be. The Sharks defence is probably the best in the comp but norman failed to find our left side in attack simple as that. I don't care how fast their line was it's his job to make sure the left side gets plenty of quality ball we have probably the best left attack in the comp. He seemed off tonight it probably didn't help that he didn't play last week, maybe his hammy is not 100%

  Forget about Nathan Cleary and all the other halves we don't have and probably never will. I actually don't think our halves are our biggest problem at the moment. A bigger issue is our right side defence where the Sharks scored their first try. I don't like singing our players but Takairangi is an impact backrower not a first grade centre. He isn't mobile enough to adequately defend in that position. That's the first change I'd be making

  Ok, Let's be a little clear. How many games has Corey played at official number 7? Last year, less than 9, and this year, 3. Corey is habitually moving like a 6 cos that's he is used to. So saying he is more of a 6 seems fair. However, since the attributes of a 7 a learnable like any trade, he will need more time to adjust. BA believes in him; he observes him in practice and I am sure that they are working on it layer by layer. Gutho has skills that relate to both the wing and a 6. Perhaps our current wingers are physically stronger. BA obviously sees more reason for Gutho at 6 rather than 5, and at 6 he can penetrate with his speed. Bottom line, they need more time together. BA seems set on these halves for now, so let's sit back and see what they improve on. I believe its too early to be too judgemental. We dont need to get rid of players we just need them to be willing to learn and practice.

  I would put G Jennings on the wing and put Hoffman to centre taka is way to slow in the centre need some strike power out wide on both sides
