Can anyone clarify what the criteria is for selection into hall of fame?Surely Hindmarsh and Burt would be shoe ins !

    I love Burt but no . Hindy yes , Dean Pay WTF ? He must've had Spagnolo tamper with the ballot I'd say . I guess if they put Hindy in now it'll be 50 years or so before they'll be able to put anyone else into their Hall Of Fame so they're saving him for later . The next inductee probably hasn't even been born yet . Can they give Hayne half and entry for half a brilliant year of footy in 2009 ?

"He might if the money was right. If the initial year was big and the CO year even bigger, why wouldn't he? As you say, he's still in demand. If we didn't activate the CO, it's likely he would have other offers."
