Gutho the new sharp shooter

Was i the only one impressed with his goal kicking??

I know they weren't all in the toughest positions on the field but he was still hitting them sweetly.

You weren't alone. He really strikes them beautifully and they go arrow straight too. I was more than impressed. He doesn't look like a makeshift kicker at all. I was really worried about our lack of recognised goal kicker this year but after yesterday I'm more than confident in Gutherson. Good stuff

I thought he hit them well, however a couple from closer to the sideline under a bit of pressure will confirm his ability.

But happy with what he showed yesterday.

  The one he missed from out wide didn't look to miss by much. A lot of good kickers may have struggled with that, especially considering the strong wind. I'm sure Burty's working with him. If he can kick 75% this year I'd be pretty happy.

He was striking them well wasn't he, seemed a lot more confident with the boot than Gordon last year.

Seeing his all or nothing attitude for us, reckon he would've been practising then in his sleep all off season.
Think they said in commentary he'd only kicked less than six previously.

No doubt there will be some tricky ones but just hope he gets the opp early to shoot some difficult ones without too much pressure on the scoreboard.
Maybe Burty is giving him some tips?

Correct, it only missed by a little bit. I was certainly happy with how they left his boot.
