  Great effort from the King! Norman is on 10, so is not behind. Considering how many games he has missed this year, that's pretty good too.

  Gutho has got to be up there with our best ever recruits. He reminds me of a solid Luke Burt, with a few more ball playing skills. He might not be the flashiest player, but he's Mr reliable. You just know he's going to turn up!

    With all due respect to Burty (and I mean that), I think Gutho has a lot more potential because of his playmaking ability.
    If anything he reminds me of Brett Kenny. Kenny started out at centre...

  He's been on fire this season! It will be hard for him to keep up once he is playing centre or wing.

  For sure. I think BA would be crazy not to put him at the back. He offers way to much. We need his hands on the ball as much as possible. It comes down to form and Mitch Moses and Bevan French are not doing enough to get ahead of Gutho. I think the one that makes way has to be French. He has been down on form. Mitch Moses had a brilliant game with the boot against Souths and I think that is too valuable to lose at this point. People also question Bevans size etc. but I think he holds his own in defense. There was a game last year against the sharks where he defended brilliantly, well above his size!

    Neither, Wongy. 

    Gutherson could win the Dally M but because he's played numerous positions so far this year, under Dally M rules, he wouldn't be eligible to win any positional award at this stage because other players that have played in those positions all year have polled more points in those respective positions than Gutherson. 

    Collectively, Gutherson obviously has more points. 
    Individually, though, from a positional perspective, it is they who have more points than Gutherson, hence the above Dally M rule.

  Guth is not your typical 5/8, but he can be quite freakish at times.

  He's played half the season at 5/8, surely that's enough games win the 5/8 award?
