Just seen an interesting article. I for one am one of many who has stated gutherson is not worth 750000 for one reason being he is not a representative player. But could that be about to change. Experts on nrl.com have called for Gutho to be named at right centre for the NSW blues. I definitely did not think of his name as a possible solution but it makes sense considering Fergo will most likely be picked on the right wing. Come to think of it Gutho would be perfect for that position and the only other possible competitive option would be jack bird but I think Guthos form gets there nod from me. As a blues support would you be happy to see guth in the centres for Nsw this year. If so should be hurry up and sign him. Keen for you r opinions

Ayoub has said contract negotiations are all on hold regarding Gutho said he is very frustrated with the eels management
Of course Ayoub's saying that. They're not playing his game.
Freddy Fittler though has all but ruled out selecting Gutho. His obvious preference is to retain James Roberts. Should that not happen he has mentioned Tyrone Peachey as an option alongside Euan Aitken who I think was 18th man last year. Jack Bird has also been raised as a centre option given he's playing there in club football, is a big body and can slot into the halves if needed.

Yeah it probably is not the reason, unlikely he is gonna admit that my client told me ‘to back off coz I’ve created a media monster that did my client or his club no favours’. Whatever it is since last weekend the media have slammed the door shut on the subject.

100 % . I do hope that the club is finalising the signing of all the other players and will soon get to a point of a take it or leave it date with Gutho.
Its 3 years Gutho - on decent coin and that’s it. Take it or find somewhere else but this can’t drag on forever.

Bird and Roberts are both overated nuffies imo.
Gutho at centre might work but unlikely imo.
