Gutho for hooker??

Wondering now that Moses will arrive soon. Don't want to waste Gutho's ball skills.

Thinking hooker could be an option for him, his defense is sound, he runs the ball well. Has a bit of kicking game. Might fix our hooking issue.

Thinking once French back, until then, Gutho needs to be fullback.

Having Gutho around the ruck is a good thing, adds another dimension to our woeful attack, then having Norman and Moses as well, suddenly we look better spine.

1- French

6- Moses

7- Norman

9- Gutho

No. Gutherson will be fullback or centre. Could be fullback if semi is done for DV and French will go to semis wing

  Once French is back, French goes back to fullback... So where do we waste Gutho? the wing...

in theory this actually doesn't seem too bad.

highly doubt it'll happen. BA isn't even replacing kaysa with a wenty hooker, i doubt he'll chuck gutho there

  Your right about C.Smith and Gutho body size, thats one of a few reasons we should look at this. Plus use Guths ball skills and speed around around the rucks.

What's this about nominating the tallest players in the squad to play hooker. First it was 6'4'' Takarangi and now is it 6'3'' Gutherson. There is a fundamental reason why hookers are short for this position.
