Gutherson GONE!

The Parramatta Eels can confirm that Clint Gutherson has re injured his knee following yesterday's full contact session. Scans last night determined that Clint suffered a rupture to his Anterior Cruciate Ligament(ACL) after the final minutes of training.

It's anticipated that Clint will have surgery in the coming days so he can begin his recovery in time for return in the 2019 season.

"This is disappointing news for Clint and the team as he has been training strong so far this season," said Head Coach Brad Arthur.

"We wish him all the best in his recovery and I am sure he will be back stronger then ever next season."

"Despite this setback the team is more determined than ever to make a amends for the start of the season."
