Guth at 6

If we start the year with guth at 6, I don't believe we will be able to match it with the top teams. The biggest issue I see here is our kicking game. Guth, de gois and French aren't players who kick in general play, so that leaves Norman with a lot of pressure. Yes I'm stating the obvious but IMO, I don't believe gutho is the answer there. Hoffman might be an alternate given he has played fullback and can also kick in general play...

Mate I agree, Gutho isn't a 6.... Yes a played a few good games at 6 IMO I think it was more of a fluke then anything, he's passing and kicking game is average he's not a ball player. His position is out on the end of a backline scoring tries not setting them up. Also I think Corey is not a 7, people say there is no difference between a 6&7 but there defiantly is! Corey is a ball runner he's not a team organiser. For me Jamal is our 7 and Corey is our 6

  There's no flukes when it comes to Gutherson, he is an extremely hard worker. It is a knock on his effort to say what he did in the halves was a fluke.

  With no pressure on gutho yes he did a good job filling in... We had nothing to lose this year and he was given a free reign.. Big difference next year though, or do we say there's always next year AGAIN

Spot on. The main issue I see is that playing with two running 5/8's leaves us vulnerable to two things. One, as you say, a lot of pressure on Norman's kicking game. We may struggle against Top 4 defenses that pressure the kicker, leaving us struggling for field position. Two, without multiple kick options, if we again lose centers like in 2016 we will struggle with a run-based attack. I like Gutho, and he has come a long way, but BA recruited Foz because BA wanted a traditional organizing half. Gutho at half is not that team.

Agree. Gutherdon at fullback, centre or wing and a backup number 6. We need to bring Fog up to speed or use someone like Cornish or start looking elsewhere for a number 7. Luke Walsh anyone?

Yeah I agree gutho back at centre maybe hunt at 7 Norman at 6 the fog on the bench to start with before moving hunt to hooker if he becomes an eel

A full preseason training with Norman in the halves will do him wonders, He played a handful of games for us at 6 and improved every week and even started to develop a kick. Believe in Gutherson, Believe in BA, Believe in Parra.

Gutherson will do fine we wont win the comp next season what we are doing is saving money to go on a spending spree in 2018 so much quality in all position wr are lacking are off contract end of next year parra best years are defintely ahead of them

I personally don't think we will go with gutho at 5/8 but its interesting to note that Cooper Cronk didn't play halfback until he arrived at the Storm and they didnt think he could succeed at his current positions which were lock, second row and sometimes centre.
