  Bingo!!! The team that ended 2001 as the most successful minor premiers statistically of all time.

  Not dissimilar to the start this year.

  Everyone needs to cool their jets on this years team for a few weeks yet..

  Coach was a coach that hadn't won a comp as a coach and Spine had a key member (JT) playing his first year in the team... hence took a while to gel.

    Sean Rudder?

    Me and my housemates at the time had a bet once I heard Taylor was coming about Parra winning the comp at good odds for my parra bet. After the GF (where they had basically written off their bet pre-game) they made hay and I still recall them going on about how brilliant "diamond tooth" was. That was their nickname for Sean Rudder. Will never forget diamond tooth.

        Funny story about that 2001 season. When Parra were flying late in the year me and my mates got talking to Buderus and Mark Hughes when they were out injured at the Coogee Bay Hotel. I said to them "Who can possibly beat Parra this year the way they are playing ?" Buderus didn't miss a beat and said "If we are fit no side will beat us" with such conviction it almost had me believe they might be a threat!!!

  Don't forget that we have 1 home game in 6 rounds. The constant traveling has not helped either.

    The only time they would have had to hop on a plane was against the Titans, don't know if they fly or drive to Canberra but I don't think travel is the reason for our drop in form.

    Teams get a lift when the stadium is filled with their own fans. We have really only had this against Cronulla, despite the high numbers of fans who turn up to away games. I'm not saying this is an excuse, but it doesn't help.

    Short turn around is also a highly underrated reason for poor performance which we had for the titans.

    Lol - the short turn around is the reason the Titans turned around a 12 nil deficit.

    I think the most logical reason is a case of inflated craniums.
    
    The Titans were unbelievably short on players mate.
