Going for a stab in the dark, Justin Poore and Shane Shackleton. Both half arsed 2011, one was gone for 2012 and bad mouthed SK, while the other hardly played in 2012.
I'd throw Fui into the mix as a potential candidate. Maybe Carl Webb , but I do like your guess of Poore and Shackleton. I'll ask Poore next time I see him at the Burgh Pub.
I'd probably say Shackleton, Allgood or Webb. Our roster was so bad back then like. I remember before the season began they showed a picture of our signings, Waitura, Webb, Chris Walker, Casey Maguire, Chris Hicks lol. Not only that, you had Stephen Kearney who had the personality of a wet dishcloth, one of the worst rugby league head coaches of the modern era.
I wouldn't say Allgood, more so due to the fact he started in Round 1 out of nowhere. Unless this one incident is an outlier and he fixed up his act after, coaches at times are not as forgiving. Someone like say Fui could do this and still play round 1 due to his stature. Allgood though? Hadn't even debuted until Round 1 that year, so if it was him Kearney would have gave him more time in reserve grade.
Webb is a decent shout. Whatuira also, only played 1 game for us.
