Until the last week Semi was the hero of the club. The new Fui. The new Guru...... the man that made 20,000 stand when he got the ball. Dally M winner and more. After a week of reporters making claims about who said what to whom every News Ltd and ch9 reporter has been made a Semi expert! Has anyone on this site heard anything direct from Semi that said........ he is heading to France, or he is done with the Eels, or he assaulted his wife..... or....... it is hard as hell to have your father dying in other country and he may not be around by the time your next bye takes place! How many media personalities have said that Semi should have been sacked from playing this week because he came home later than originally agreed. I might have agreed until my own experience. My dad was sick from cancer for 18 mths before he died and I felt horrendous for going oversees for a week every quarter. It was literally soul destroying and will stay with me forever. I can't imagine what it would be like being away from your Dad and "Occasionally" returning home. Family First. Support this bloke. He is one of ours......the Sharks supporters booed him back to Fiji. Cheer him back to a point where he, his ex wife and daughter can be proud who they are as people not just players and not as pawns of the media juggernaut. Give them a hug!!!!!!!!!

Sorry Yoda, on this occasion i can't agree mate, i lost respect for Semi's word long ago and am close to losing all respect for the bloke as a person regardless how good a footy player he is.
Sorry to hear about your dad mate, I know how it feels but Semis dad only has bronchitis, Semi lied about bringing him back and used him as an excuse, thats poor form but id expect nothing less from Semi, Semi plays people for fools and uses the culture gap to his advantage, he's a lot more cunning than people think imo
Semi has since stated he went because he was unhappy with his TPA drama amongst other things.
Ill support and stand for players who support and stand for the club, semi is taking the club for a ride and has been for a long while, he's been caught out, the club and NRL had to threaten him and his manager, if they didn't he would be gone.
Im not keen on the 'grow the kahunas' bit mate, i could say the very same thing back to the people supporting him, i'd add 'wake up' into that as well.
Semi has been making a mockery of the club behind the scenes and in public, I've no sympathy for him
Do you know his dad? Do you know him personally.... or is IMO just an IMO? Your are making some pretty serious claims without backing it up with specifics. Sorry mate, I know you don't have all the facts ....100%. Now...... if you have those specifics share them. If you don't..... hold the claims until the facts come out. They will.

Yoda I've shared my facts here 1000 times, I'm not going into it again mate, I've been getting mail on what semi has been doing behind the scenes for months, i was the bloke here to tell everybody he wasn't happy, wanted out asap and was working a deal with peat nolan for 6 months, no i don't have all the facts mate, I'm not claiming to, but i have plenty enough to know Semi has been dogging us for ages, which I've stated over and over, and it just so happens to be that EVERYTHING I've stated about semi over the last few months has turned out to be spot on, and didn't i cop some shit breaking it lol

Cheers mate but don't assume everybody is falling for the media, I'm giving my mail months before, I've known about semi for 6 months and had BA warned a few weeks ago, its not gossip for me, I've got a source who is actually 1st hand privy on the negotiations with pete nolan, so I'm not dealing in gossip, i put my neck on the block regarding semi months ago, blokes like you (not you) bagged me and said 'how the fuck would you know' well it looks like i knew.
Have you not seen me copping it from all sides for months regarding my semi mail which all turns out to be spot on.
I'll be interested to see your thoughts on Semi 6 months down the track yoda, thats how long I've been getting regular updates and how long I've known the blokes dogging us, you guys are still at the surprised and might be some hope stage when the boats already sailed long ago.

Mate, the scales may fall from your eyes yet. Semi hasn't made any statements denying or confirming anything. All his manager has said is that he'll honour his Eels contract. I wouldn't be backing him unconditionally - I'd see how this plays out. We don't have all the facts.
The domestic violence allegations are serious and, if the court finds him guilty, will have a significant effect on his NRL career.
As for being pawns of the media - his manager has done him no favours in the way he's handled this situation. And his ex-partner and her lawyer are talking to the media - I've seen her lawyer interviewed twice on channel 9. So they are active participants in the media circus. They certainly have the option to say nothing - which is what the club has done (bar, a statement saying they know of he charges and won't be saying anything further).
