Lets forget about Orford and Thurston and sign Inglis. he is a champion. He could be our number 6. and leave robson at 7. What are your thoughts Parra fans.
We have money left in the kitty.

If he goes to Souths then we should make a play for Asotasi but trim him down for lock or 2nd row off the bench has the ability to play any position in the foward pack bar the hooker role.In my opinion he would be the cool head that settles the foward pack in those grind em out games, has a fairly decent offload and can hit like a mule in defense.I understand we are top heavy in fowards but he would bring balance to a pack in a very tight game.
As much as i dislike his disgraceful attack on his girlfriend and because this blog in more of a fantasy/dream type of a question
Then the ONLY sensible answer to the question about the remote possibility of signing Inglis is - OF COURSE YOU SIGN HIM !!!
Inglis, as a player, is EASILY the single most talented player in NRL - and its a special talent that only gets BETTER in BIG GAMES and those are OFTEN MATCH WINNING performances, Inglis, IMO is the BEST - better than Hayne, better than Slater, better than them all
I'll even go as far as saying that Inglis - is one of the very FEW players I would place in the once in a lifetime/generation category
On his day, Inglis is simply unstoppable - forget about whinging about the GF loss to Melb in 2009 for a second and salary cap rorts etc - just LOOK at his play - Inglis EASILY was the best player on the ground in the 2009 GF. Cronk played a great game but it was Inglis that Parra had no answer for
He makes the impossible, look sublime and here is another way to look at the talent of Inglis
Based on his NRL play alone - would YOU think that Inglis will also make a GREAT Aussie Rules player ??
The answer can only be YES
That's how GOOD of an athlete Inglis is - he would also dominate in another CODE not associated with League
But the best quality that Inglis has is that he WINS BIG GAMES, consistantly - and that is worth every cent you would spend on the guy

Inglis can go to the Bunnies or the Broncos.
Besides, we need a genuine half not a centre come five-eighth.
