Like any sport, there are positives and negatives. The sport is turning its biggest revenue ever and apparently TV viewership is up. Those are positives.
But you can't stick your head in the sand regarding issues such as players like Matt Lodge being allowed back, the judiciary's inconsistencies and low crowds.
Throw in Refereeing standards, funding of grass roots, apparently junior numbers are up, Id like to see the numbers of registered players excluding touch and league tag I'll bet they are in decline.
+1 for refs. They're making the game unwatchable.

Be prepared for things to get horribly worse with the destroyer of the Comm Games heading up the party.
