Knowing the Dragons were bigger up front and would concentrate running at our smaller pack, you can see in the BA game plan that they concentrated on making sure they were cleaning up the edges on either side of the ruck and all along the corridor of the middle 3rd, 2, 3, 4 in to lock up the dragoms forwards in almost every tackle performed in the middle 3rd. This tactic including getting back 10 fast to repeat and repeat, mostly stopped the big Dragons gaining advantages by offloading balls with space for McInnes, Widdop and Nightingale to ignite their back lines and back rowers when such opportunities were there. This tactic nullified Widdop and completely shut down the Dragons. Brilliant BA tactics by the Bush Coach.
Fong, you need to apologise to BA because he put on a coaching masterclass today all across the park. These tactics placed lots of pressure ton dragons backs and halves to make rushed decisions and movements leading to 3 tries coming off Dragons mistakes made under lots of pressure applied by our boys.
Also, we made twice as many missed tackles because of these tactics but you can see how BA's tactics won us the game. Bravo, Brad Arthur, bravoooooooo

It was the passion and intensity, 2, 3, 4 going in on almost every tackle, for most of the game that won it today and can win us games against the biggest packs in the comp. Can we deliver what we saw today in every game from now on to the end of the season??? If we do we will be beating top 4 squads and go deep into the finals. Where was this attitude last week????
Think Josh is just making the point that in the last 20 we weren't making a lot of metres in the middle third and the Dragons line speed and intensity was very good. We continued to defend very well to the end but it is true we did struggle to go forward towards the end.
