  Hayne played his part, and played it well. It just so happens though that 16 other players all played their parts too. It was a great team effort and I thought all of the boys stood up tonight on the back of a powerhouse performance from the forwards.

  I thought the turning point was the players getting angry when Sandows try was disallowed and they took it out in defence.
  
  There were times that the Manly forwards looked a bit worried carrying the ball up. I think our forwards were hitting them hard.
  
  This allowed the backs (particularly Sandow) to do their thing.
  
  Hop pas defence was outstanding.
  
  Toutai was the only disappointing player on the field.
  
  PS thought Gower had his worst game with a couple of turnovers due to loose carries, but given his usual high standard and the fact he was probably trying too hard against his old team, that's not too bad.
  
  Great team effort across the park.

  We are back baby. Our young forwards are the envy of all other clubs. Not focusing on next year yet, but with Davis and Goodall likely to play next year in the backs we will be a powerhouse.
