  • You have to buy a ticket to go to the park these days? Blow me down
  • lollolloololol.... sorry were not 60 years old 1 eyed eel..lol..yea i feel you mate.. i got one too.. if all is well ill sell the ticket from friday night.. GO YOU MIGHTY EELS 09!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  • hahahaha u do indeed. its not cheap either, $137 ;)
    • reckon we can sell them for more than that.. get my drift ;)
  • Parklife is ALOT of money. Too much money in fact! I didn't even pay that much to see Daft Punk, and that lineup was far better than any possible Parklife lineup.

Go watch the Eels if the choice comes up - you may never get the opportunity again. I go to many, many concerts a year - you will get the chance to see everyone playing at Parklife again and possibly without the horror of fluro t-shirts and massive sunglasses, as usually sported by dance festival music goers.
    • Mary HOW SWEET WAS DAFT PUNK?
  • so very true mary!! how old r u if u dont mind me asking?

it is a ripoff but i still been looking forward to it for a while. that being said, there is no way i would miss parra potentially win a premiership! i know better then that!

..and your right, daft punk was truly one of the best value for money days in a while, LOVEDD IT, but not half as much as i am going to love sunday week, when hayne scores a double to lock up parramattas first premiership in 23 years!!!!! :D
    • I was a single digit age for the 1998 Final against the dogs but was into double digits by the time we played Newcastle in 2001. A true lady never reveals her age!

Daft Punk was indeed INCREDIBLE. :-)

P.S. Nick - that's my point! I refused to go to Coldplay this year on principle. Who does Chris Martin think he is - charging that much for a concert is ridiculous! Plus, Coldplay's older albums are much better than their new stuff. Daft Punk was ONCE IN A LIFETIME and that was still less than COldplay this year. Go figure.
  • Grand Final regardless of who plays!!! Would never miss Grand Final!...... just my opinion :)
    • lol nickleback, serioulsy mate.

you couldn't pay me a enough money to sit through that rubbish, it would be like listening to the same song on rotation for two hours.

"The chances of him being our 6 next year are very low, if he was a serious consideration he would be playing 6 now with dylan at centre. I'll be very surprised if he is our starting 6 next season unless he gets a lot more time there this season. "

"I think Joash is a good player, but from what I've seen only at fullback or on the wing. Those positions we've got pretty well covered, so I guess he's a great back up option. I'd like to see him in 1st grade, but I dont know how he fits in?"
