    Every club needs a Gower. Honest hard worker. Bit out of form, but the type of player once he starts clicking other will too.

  When you see him in front of the camera he is articulate, honest and intelligent. Wouldn't surprise me to see him turn into a quality coach when he is finished at the eels (with a premiership or two)

  David Gower has been rewarded for his good form at the Eels with a 12-month contract extension.

  A smart ball-playing forward in career-best form, Gower will now remain at the Eels until the end of 2017.
