Found this in daily telegraph story regarding doggies. Apparently Gould met with Ben Hunt last year but hunt said no. Then it mentioned the below.
There have been whispers in recent weeks that Gould was weighing up an approach to Parramatta over Jacob Arthur with a view to landing the young half for the remainder of the season.
Fact that it spills info on meeting last year with Hunt that wasn't previously leaked shows writer is obviously close to the story.

Loan him out for the year, yeah why not. Apart from that don't give them anyone. They have just made two spots spare, with another two possible in okunbar and Flanagan maybe leaving. So alot of movement could be happening at the doggies.
swap with davey
From a development point of view, it'd be great for him. Different viewpoints, different coaching, different systems. Win for him I think.
Clean swap Flanagan for JA ......no problems
If anything happened to Moses, i would be more comfortable with Flanagan filling in than Arthur
I am happy for that. Could you see Hands starting and Flanagan as a 14?
They're about the same.
Flanagan is far superior than JA and can kick goals also...
How is he far superior? Flanagan couldn't set up a try if his life literally depended on it. Couldn't get a repeat set in an unopposed training run. The bloke is terrible. They're only about the same level today because Flanagan has more NRL experience. JA has more upside. Not a huge amount but definitely more than Flanagan.
He is far superior because his Dad is not the coach and if he is not up to scratch he will not play
I think Flanagan has more utility.
