This article is a bit concerning quite frankly, and I was kind of fearful that this would happen when Horo went to Penrith.
Hills Sports High is probably our best junior nursery right now - given they've won the last two Schoolboys cups and they've had the likes of Loko and Wehbe in their sides. It concerns me Gould talking up in public that he is going to "strengthen ties" with Hills Sport, which are obviously considerable given Horo is the coach there anyway.

This was always going to happen. Gould is a legend in the NRL and will have ALOT of pulling power. We really need Sterlo to come in for the Eels and do what Gould is doing. Sterlo is the only man i can think of that everyone loves and listens to.
I agree, Sterlo as the spokesman for our recruitment team would be gold. Can you imagine an up and coming halfback having Sterlo in his loungeroom telling him to sign with Parra, he couldnt say no...

What are you blokes talking about - Gould is growing his club in the fashion I wish Paramatta would - getting high profile sportsman and personalities affiliated with the club back to junior level.
Don't shoot the messenger guys. I hope to God the Parramatta administration is taking note of the excellent work he is doing at Penrith - but at the moment, I fear they wouldn't notice a good initiative if it whacked them in the melon!
This is exactly why we should have tried to do our best to keep Mark Horo. Plenty of players in our region who are meant to be our juniors are already leaving for other clubs and this is just going to make the problem worse. The next thing you know Westfield Sports High is targeted and then we're really screwed. I think our club has enough money to employ some big names such as Sterlo to head to these schools but our management is probably too conservative/ stupid to do it.
We still have Westfields! So stay away squashed up pumpkin face
