GOOD TO BE A PARRA FAN

I have been reading in the news all the rubbish players are getting up to, clubs that are shambles eg: what’s happening withthe Draggies and Israel Folau, Corey Norman the dud, Segearo, Payen Haas and the list could just go on and on and on if we backtrack a few months. Think back to the days and it wasn’t that ling ago where it was Parra players or the club in the news for the wrong reasons, players mucking up, salary cap, the board needs replacing etc.Now take a breath and feel how good it feels to be a part of The Blue and Gold, it’s beautiful, we have great leadership along with decent human beings right through the place.We might need this tweaked with or a little bit of that at our club but I can honestly say.ITS GREAT TO BE A PARRA FAN RIGHT NOW.Love the positive vibes, Go Gutho lead the way, come on you forwards smash them so Moses and Dylan have a bit more time and our backs can wind up to roll down the edges.GO THE MIGHTY EELS!!!

It will be interesting to see what happens with Payne Haas and the integrity unit. Those comments were a disgrace especially when he infers he would not hesitate to hit a female officer. Not a great look for a game trying to be inclusive of female fans and players.

Love the positivity of this blog Hunter, I am also looking forward to this season and am happy with how the club and team have been going the last few years.

    NRL have now distanced themselves from Lumby's comments. She doesn't work for the NRL, she's not an NRL Gender Advisor. They don't even have such a role. She's on a committee as an advisor, the committee hasn't met for 6 months.
    I hope they throw the book at Haas. That incident goes against everything the NRL 'apparently' stands for.

      Though is it just me that suspects that if some female on a gender advisory whatever publicly recommended, say, 6 weeks, there would be outrage about cancel culture blah blah blah???

    In light of the situation and the chief gender advisors comments, no sanctions will be handed out for breaching the code of conduct at this time.

        But we could tell the mods ... about Rule 5, which says if criticizing players, it has to be in a "reasonable fashion". It's pretty reasonable to say Haas deserves sanction.
