The trio are products of the Parramatta Eels Academy and represent the next generation of local talent progressing through the Club's pathways programs.
Pryke has extended his contract until the end of the 2028 season after making his NRL debut earlier this year. The young forward has impressed throughout his rise through the Eels Academy and has quickly demonstrated he belongs at the top level.
Talagi has re-signed until the end of 2029 and is poised to achieve a significant milestone when he makes his NRL debut against the Sharks this Sunday having earned his opportunity through consistent performances and dedication.
Petrus, an Australian Schoolboys representative, has committed until the end of 2028. Regarded as an impactful member of the forward pack, Petrus continues to make significant strides in his development.
Parramatta Eels General Manager of Football Mark O'Neill said the re-signings were further evidence of the strength of the Club's Academy.

Now thats impressive. Ryda and Petrus are two of the most highly rated jnrs in the comp, and this shuts the door on Petrus joining the png in their inaugural season. Now we need to lock up Fletcher, Sam Tuivaiti and others who've been spoken about by those in the know. Especially Lincoln fletcher
Agree mate, the more we retain the right juniors for the future, the better off we will be. Is it still the case we will get cap space if the stay for a certain time? I knew it once was the case.

Signing juniors is 1 thing, they need the ability to pick from outside the club as well which they have failed.

Well Daniel Anderson at St George for a start, the Roosters and Melbourne get who they want mostly also.We have none who will represent Aus at the end of the year and 1 who played origin this year.

Hating on the club is fun I get it lol, but the eels do have a large production line of juniors. Issue has always been losing them before they hit nrl so this definitely is something to celebrate haha
