Will take YEARS for this guy to get to NRL standard, hes no doubt a talent and should be given a crack at some point but i wouldnt be building him up too much just yet, talk of a 10 year half for us is unrealistic at this point.
Agree he would probably make a better fist of it than Corey has been.
He turned 19 this year, meaning he is at an age where he can improve dramatically. By the end of next off season he could be a first grader. Or he could just be a big strong kid with minimal skill development.
He wanted to leave and become something he isn’t doing now lol. Also we should get him back because with Crichton signed for next year he’ll be forced back to the bench.
Or he could make his debut the year he turns 20 (next year) like French, or even the year he turns 19 (this year) like Moeroa. If they're good enough Arthur will give them a run. Do you really think Niukore is some diamond in the rough? He has been consistently outplayed by fringe first graders Vave, Gower and Scott.
None of our other youngsters are eligible for first grade because they are in the development squad.
Considering the way we have passed over our juniors in the past I think it’s good to have some optimism about a player. Why wouldn’t we fast track him if he’s good enough. If he’s doing well for Wenty give him a game later in the season and see how he goes. I think Corey Norman can be brilliant but he isn’t consistent and the notion that he has a great running game I think is a myth. When his kicking game is on it’s superb and he does throw a good ball but so inconsistent

What juniors have we let go that would make our side better since BA has been here? Probably just Paulo!
I’m still filthy it didn’t work out for Tim Smith all those years back. He looked like the next big thing but just couldn’t handle the fame and apart from a few decent seasons in the UK never got near his potential.
"HFK, If I'm wrong about Pezet & he turns out to be a complete lemon, so be it. We all get things wrong, make mistakes, make false assumptions.
What kind of six is Ryles after? Dunno. But Pezet appears to have footy IQ with swagger, a kicking game,…"
"Whether there is a definitive answer or not, it'll have nothing to do with us signing Pezet. He was only available for 2026. He had already signed with the Broncos long term from 2027."
"I have been highly critical of the decision and have copped a little blow back for it, let's see in 12 months time with the eels heading into the 2027 season if they don't have a definitive answer on who will be our long term 6 if the people…"

He may just get a run for BA in about a decade.
