Always rated and liked Ken, was disappointed to see him go but he took an offer much bigger than we could afford at the time.
I doubt we could afford him now or have room for him, no way BA would be looking to pay 250k-300k+ for a Winger atm, no way he would get 500k, but i agree Nathan he will be a handy pick up for who ever picks him up and is of NRL standard, id like to see him back in oz and wish him well.
How Sio was lost to England & we copped Toutai is beyond me, however the reason he left was over the amount of money available to sign him the club wanted him as he fitted the right wing perfectly but he was asking too much.
The reason Ken left wasn't because of his asking price/market value - it was very much a Kevin Kingston type situation where his contract was supplemented with match payments and retaining him would have put us over the cap for 2015. Hence why no other NRL club took him on and he went to the Super League - his cost against the cap was more than what any NRL Club was willing to pay for a winger.
Would absolutely love to see Ken in the blue and gold. A good Parra junior who worked his way up the ranks in an unconventional way and became progressively better each year. He would not look out of place on the right flank if he was a part of our 2016 squad.
Man that boy could sniff out a try!!!!
Id like to see him back but 500is way too much. I would be comfortable with 250 - 330
Chook was underrated fongy, i could watch the man kick goals all day
