STEVE KEARNEY’s appointment at the Eels is smart on so many levels – not least will be his ability to recruit players. Not only is he respected by the Storm players, he has the support of all the very best Kiwis in the NRL. And then there is a prominent former Kiwi league star and All Black in the making, Sonny Bill Williams. Kearney has stayed in regular touch with Williams since he walked out on the Bulldogs. When SBW was in Toulon Kearney maintained contact as a friend and has always been a huge supporter. Clearly Williams faces a big challenge as he tries to earn a place in the All Blacks side for next year’s World Cup. And if he makes that side, he will be hard to bring back to the NRL. However, Williams has plenty of time for Kearney and if the Eels manage to recruit Quade Cooper at the end of the World Cup, the chances of Williams then joining the Eels would increase again. Cooper and SBW are friends and would love to play in the same team.

There should be a new blog category for Rumour Signings and it should branch off the Trash Blogs.. It would however have more content and replies then any other blog category at this rate!
I love a good rumour, but dayumn! This is just too much..
There's no more factual content on the home page, just rumours after rumors after rumours..
Well I guess with the current board, you could make up a rumour about anything and there probably would be some truth behind it..
With SBW intent on playing for the All Blacks at the 2011 WC, I highly doubt he'd suddenly change plans, and come back to play NRL.
So fingers crossed Dunny Bill makes the All Blacks.
danny weirdler is still a grub, i wouldnt wipe my arse with anything this clown writes.
IMO the only way Sonny Bill will wear a Parra jersey, is if he goes to a party at a mates place, spews on his shirt and has to borrow something to wear! (and the jersey is the only thing that fits him)
