"Yes we are building, that is my point, we are building but potentially we could take a step back in 2027 if our solution at 6 is a rookie with no first grade experience or very little. "
"Gus has been sorting his spine since 21'. Five years. We've almost sorted ours in a year or so. JR isn't blind: he's looking for a long-term six. Right now.

Can't comment as I didn't see the game just reading reports
G: Alvaro is set to be a starting prop into the future
B, Time to screw in brains, and velcro in hands, or just learn how to handle a ball (rugby league type)
U, Hard to asses, he still tops the tackle count, and other non Eels reviews says he went ok, Still for a young 9 and slight frame plays above weight, likewise with all of those 4 in the spine and still learning each others game, will change again with Norms returns.
Agree with good and bad. Ugly agree with the part about Kaysa and add French as his positional play was bad and was bad in defense and attack did not click or took wrong option. A real worry is how our defense is going, has improved but still not right. Last year when Scott was on the right edge our right side defense improved, was a lot better, now it is back to how it use to be with big holes (bad reads). I think BA needs to put Scott back on that edge in defense for his experience and Moeroa in the middle and let them change during attack.
Scott and Alvaro should be in starting 13. Our kicking game on last tackle not good enough
B: no too many injuries
U: ricky stuart head
