Fuifui Moimoi knocked back opportunities to continue his NRL career at the Manly Sea Eagles and Penrith Panthers because he didn't want to play against his beloved Parramatta Eels. However, the veteran prop won't be lost to rugby league altogether, as he is close to finalising a deal to continue his career in the Super League.
While most expected Moimoi to hang up his boots after Parramatta failed to offer him a new contract, the former New Zealand international will play on in England.
"I'll probably go for one more year or two overseas, see how my body feels," Moimoi said.
"I still wanted to play another year but I didn't want to go somewhere else [in Australia]. Obviously I've been here for a long time and didn't want to finish my career [at another club], I still want to play."

Great to hear the bigfella is able to have another year or two in England.
RESPECT.....
Awesome Fui. I think he'll get at least two more years over there as well.
Fui, you are a true Legend! One of the all time greats of Parra. We are all going to miss you. Can't wait till your book comes out. LONG LIVE THE FUI
Hate it when a legend like Fui leaves the club! Lets hope he goes well over in Pommy, re-unites with his family in the U.S. and eventually brings his brood back to settle in Sydney and be employed by the club, longtime as the forwards coach. Love happy endings. When I find out who he signs for I'll make an effort to watch him every time he's on Super League on Fox!
what the fark are you on about?
hahahah God knows.
