Gold in jersey

This has always confused me. We are blue and gold yet our jersey colours are blue and yellow. Next year being the 70th year of the eels existence it would be great if they could release a jersey with gold (similar to the gold Arsenal play in every now and then). Would coincide well with being free of Dyldo.

  • Not too sure what arsenal play in but the 49ers play in true gold, would be pretty flash to pull it out once in a blue moon Pete, we could call it bling round

    • Ye snake that's the same gold colour arsenal play in. Would look great on an eels jersey.
  • Good call. Just make mark the milestone and beat the Sea Eagles at it too.
  • I don't care about yellow or gold, just stay away from the white!
  • You tryin to get me started?
  • We are blue and yellow, period.
Gold is a color for metals.
  • This year is our 70th year.
  • Forget gold - 70th anniversary is platinum.
