Going forward...

Now that we have lost Gutho for the season and without the benefit of a healthy for/against points difference, and with a few teams breathing down our necks, everything has to be spot on for us to make the finals and go further. Much has been written about where we need to improve, most if not all valid, so I'll just touch on one thing I noticed yesterday. Anyone else notice Radradra could have run a bit further in and plant the ball closer to the sticks? That was one conversion we missed which almost cost us the game, and with our number 1 kicker now unavailable, we need to address these small things with urgency.Thoughts?

  • He should have nailed it
  • Lucky we have a handy backup kicker in Moses who was actually kicking at around 80% I think, Guth around 75 , and we have great depth in the backs this year , we ll be right.
    • True, but we can't become complacent and be happy with just scoring a try, we've gotta give the kicker as easy a kick as possible
  • I think Moses may actually be technically a better goal kicker. I'd imagine at training he kicks better than gutho. We probably stuck with gutho because he handles pressure so well, he was getting the job done and to keep the pressure off Moses as a new signing. If anything Moses should actually be a better kicker but we all know what pressure does.
  • Semi can kick goals too and apparently Cameron King is a good goal kicker as well, so there's a few options to play with but I think that Moses will get the job done.

    • U went to that extent, your the type that just laughs at his own jokes in a quite room.
  • Are you a dope? That is a genuine question. Eggman is saying that Moses was kicking at a better %.
  • We need to be much more clinical, particularly attack in red zone. We must be the only team who can't attack inside 20m. Very one dimensional. Also, possession control is key. Dropped ball coupled with soft penalties will ultimately be the deciding factor in our success or failure.
  • First off i didnt create it, i didnt ask for it to be created, it was put up by another member tonight, but theres nothing wrong with it and there are many members wanting Tim gone, just have a look on social media.

And secondly yes i do laugh at my own jokes in a quiet room, you got that one right.
