So at the games I sit behind the Eels bench, so I get a tremendous look at what goes on from there. At the end the staff was pointing at going for the two, instead you could see Moses irritated at being told and pushed to go for the 2 by Steve Murphy and finally last second decides to tell Mahoney to go for the tap.
Now, common sense in that situation should prevail in the sense of out F/A is terrible and any points are good points. So it baffled me to think why they chose to ignore the call from Arthur and staff to get an extra two points.
Now what I'm about to say isn't gospel, it isn't confirmed or rumoured, just strictly my opinion. But was this a revolt from the team pretty much saying we got the win and a good win, we are not listening to you anymore. They looked like a team playing for themselves tonight despite Arthurs terrible interchanging.
I could be completely wrong but just think it was very odd, accumulating with all the talk of players leaving could there be a player revolt happening?

I saw Mahoney standing with the ball confused, Moses walking in position, the staff from the bench were screaming and signalling two and then Murphy ran out on the field and told him, you see Moses look at Murphy, seemed annoyed and walked up to Mahoney and then ran back in position.
It happened earlier on too when Salmon was meant to come on, Murphy went out and to get whoever and there was nobody coming, at first I thought it was Mahoney as he kept looking back towards Murphy. Steve got an earful as he ran off cause Salmon didn't come on.
A lot of ignoring going on. And yet got a good win. Go figure
Interesting... i' m sorry but Moses is poison! Hearing this confirms it the petulant little sook should be the one that's shopped but who'd wanna pay his price.
yes he had an improved game tonight but no matter what he needs to follow coaches orders... probably explains his deadshit poor executed mid field bombs for the most part of the year and lack of direction.
keep up the good work LB ;) seriously good to hear this info thanks.
Look Macy, I've read countless rants of yours lately backing Norman and mentioning many times how toxic Moses is and I've said nothing.
How many off field indiscretions has Moses had? How long have we been waiting for him to step up to the plate and play good and consistent footy?
Now, ask yourself the same about Norman.
Moses has come here and realised just how farked up our culture is and is trying to do something about it imo. He may well be a petulant little prick, I don't know as I've never met him.
The fact that the owners of The Titans spent 1 hour with Norman and said thanks but no thanks is all the evidence needed . Even their statement was about him personally, not even a “ not the type of player “ it was more “ not the type of person “ .
So whos the toxic one again ?
I still can’t belive that people still remain on the Norman bandwagon he is just going through the motions earning too much per season - 900k next season
I agree and have been thinking the same, Master.
It's like he just shows up, trains as required, does a couple of skillful things occasionally and gets the big bucks and know's that he will.
Grunta, Norman’s stupid off field indiscretions are old news...busted and did his time. You serious “Moses comes here and sees what our culture is like” ...you really believe Moses is about the moral high ground? Past history but dissing his past club and fans walking out the door? I’d call that extremely poor personal culture myself.
Neither have exactly been shinning on field lights, for the most part of the year but Norms pulled his finger out much earlier than the boy petulant one.
besides the way some of you guys talk it’s like Norms is the first and last nrl player to have done the naughty...don’t get me started. Still best the Titans keep Norms away from Proctor then :)
Unlucky Norms plays for The Parramatta Eels and misdemeanours could not be glossed over as well as some do.
Norms is much easier to offload than Moses would be.
I also thought they should have gone for the two points and was surprised they didnt. Mahoney was waiting for somebody to make the call but from the television angle you don't always witness what the coach or staff are yelling at the players. If Mitch Moses ignored the call on purpose then he should be reprimanded.
