Go fund me- for Brett Kenny

Just a thought.

From what I know Burt isnt in the best financial situation and Men of League ended up paying for his hip replacement. His step son is in bad way too and needs 24/7 care.

If someone of stature and status like Phil Sim could set up a "go fund me" page to help out, I think it would be the least we could do for the great man. Well wishes and prayers are great, but this situation calls for substance.

We can promote it here on social media and through the Parra Eels official channels.

Please get behind Brett guys!!! I think no one would really miss ie 50 bucks being the minimum you pay for a night out.

He gave us plenty to look forward to on Mondays mornings either it was school or work. We owe him for the happy memories and for us 40+'s a happy childhood.

    • Good ideas.

How hard is it to organise a Brett Kenny Day for the remaining home games we have. A percentage of tickets sales, donation points, prize draws for participation. It would be great and I'm sure the Blue and Gold faithful will get behind the initiative.

Time to do something for one of our own favorite sons.

  • Let's do what we can to help one of our fallen heros.
  • Parra dogs game should be it, bring him to the game gives us more incentive to smash the grubs
  • If the club and the rugby league networks ( including Brett's good mate the very influential Ray Hadley ) can't raise money for his treatment there's something seriously wrong .
  • I reckon the club will organise something at some point. A game day or charity dinner.

I'm sure the club will do what they can to help, and the fans will be generous when the time comes to give support.

  • Let me know details , I'm in!
  • As a tigers supporter, i am more than willing to donate.
  • What are we waiting for the club are snoozing!!!

Time for the fans to act!!!
