Glass Houses and the Power of the Eels Fans

Now that we are compliant, and once we fix our governance we can help the team win the premiership by continuing the pressure on the NRL to fix its own system so our amazing team that is squeeky clean isn't being punished by the NRL's dodgy system, its blind eye and its News Ltd / NRL owned favourites. We have to ensure that the NRL has no decision making on board selections or club decisions or we will lose what we have gained. We need to be 100% independent and transparent now....... as we can now throw stones at other glass houses and demand reform.

  • Sounds good Yoda, but lets get the new board in position first, that means a full & functional one at that, when that is in place, then we get the stones & any ammunition needed. Thing is though that first & last our club has to be kept clean & run clean. All staff of both the leagues & football club need to understand that. Coaching staff & players are also part of that. A set of standards needs to be put in place.

I suggest that is likely already in place with the coach having his way in what he expects, that is both fair & tough.

    • Amen to that brother!
