Glass half full or glass half empty?

So, we won tonight (REJOICE) !!! However, we did beat the Melbourne Storm WITHOUT their 4 best players. So I pose the question. Are you satisfied with this win even though we struggled to beat a team without their superstars, or are you irritated that we didn't belt them the way we probably should have. For me personally, given the yuck weather, and how bad we have been playing lately, I will certainly take the win. In better news, we have the bye next week! FOUR POINTS IN TWO WEEKS! Gotta enjoy the moment while it lasts.

  • Satisfied. Playing teams without their stars is often mis-leading. Our boys were falling apart and we stayed tough.
  • No. Far from satisfied
  • A win is a win! Look at the possession and tell me they didn't do well. Went to Melbourne to come away with 2pts and did! Chillax bitches!!
  • Plus no Hoppa, Manu suspended also no Champion, Terepo
  • Glass is smashed. Win feels good, but not impressed.
  • That was a brave, gutsy win. Against the odds.

    Possession against us 56 % - 44 %

Storm had 7 more sets completed

More than double Storms errors 14-6

    Conceding 2 more penalties

More than half our regular first grade out.
Mannah - back from a heavy hit
Peats - eye (now ACL ?)
    Brad Taka - one legged
    Watmough - was 50%
    Meora - shoulder issues
    Mau - out
    Hoppa - out
    Edwards - out
    Champion - out
Robinson - out (fractured cheek ?)

Players playing out of position all over the Park mid game. Sandow, Norman, Peats, Pauli Pauli

Coming off the soul destroying loss to the Cowboys

Coming after a demoralising 5 weeks losing tight games,

Coming after being bagged by anyone for anything, media scandals from Sandow, salary caps to BA knocking.

    Yeah. That was something else.
  • I don't give a fuck who we play or how many players they have missing. Winning is a rarity around these parts so I'll take that win and any win anytime.
    • 100%, I agree.

  • Exactly Kendoza well said. Whoohooo we needed that!

No-one gave us our two points back when we had to play two second rowers in the centres,or when we had 6 players out at the seasons start etc etc etc Was never gonna be pretty when half your side gets injured two points is two points

  • Dare I say this.

    We play like Sandow.

Our best is great, but our worst is diabolical.

Parramatta, the new rocks and diamonds.

We did well to win with our injuries and they still have a decent forward pack.

But you could see early that they were not on and it was going to be one of those slow start, can we finish strong sort of games.

    Rating - Lucky....

One game only, same old story. 40 years of this rubbish. Every pre-season, big talk, everyone says this is our year. Sometimes we start okay, sometimes we get smashed like last night, 52-4 by Storm. Then the losses start, we lose all momentum, and…
