Nothing will change until we fix our line speed in D, general yardage game, and errors.
Only attitude can change these aspects and eventually things will trun.
However, You can't play Morts, Robson and MK as your 6,7 and 9..... it just won't work at the business end of the season beacuse there is just not enough points in those 3.
Mateo has to play at 6 and let his form develop. He plays well before and through the line.... but most importantly... he comes to life in the red zone. We had maybe 5 sets of 6 in the Cronulla's 20 2nite.... in 2 of thos sets the ball did not get to Hayne, Tahu and Mateo...... that's just wrong. Morts and Robson are just not getting the ball to Hayne and Mateo at the right times (largely because the forwards are being dominated).... but mostly because they just don't "have it".
Robson, KK and Morts should be left to fight it out for 7 and MK needs to play far less minutes. Mortimer and Tahu need to get to dummy half and run when the forwards are not dominating. Just has to happen.
Hayne can't do it on his own. Time for Mateo to take the reigns.

As a coach I just couldn't build a team like that.
Morts, Robson and MK just don't produce enough points.
Mateo I agree is not playing well, but he is and Origin quality player and will come good eventually. A move to 6 will help him you would think and efinately help Hayne and Tahu get more ball.

He single handedly carried the team 2 years ago and nearly won us the GF.
He is the best 6 option at the club period.... People have sort memories with what he is cpapable of.
he is one of my fav players but he is severely underdone at present!
there gunna need somebody to stick around there a while and build them around that position,
we all know 7 is the pivotal man and they are who makes and break the team, robson isnt perfoming there build morts into that position and let mateo run more from 6.
