Getting paid

During the last press conference, BA mentioned 'being paid to do a job' a couple of times. I just wonder whether it is on his mind that Bernie and Max may be hesitant to sack him considering that he will need to be paid out and they are managing him out of the organisation.....hence the internal investigation headed by Maguire.

  • It's a very strange analogy that ba uses because dollars are not always the best incentive for the sporting greats. Pride in oneself and for your neighbouring team mate will always be the great motivator.

For mine, BA'S only ever concern was about dollars and never the club, that's the reason he signed so many old experienced heads as a quick fix short term hit and run.
BA knew that debuing and recruiting talented but inexperienced players may not have bought him as many wins, as we've seen @ Newcastle.

That's what you call putting yourself before the club and that's the major reason Parramatta are in a major shithole that will only get a whole lot larger.
    • You seriously think BA put himself before the club? After everything he's done for the team, you honestly think he decided that he'd put himself before anything else?

      You're delusional.

      • Are one of those things letting the club pay a fortune for 2 players in Foran and Watmough when he knew that one was damaged good physically and the other mentally which cost the club a fortune?

      • 100%  .  Where else would the dope make 700k per year super ffs.

    • Lol that is the biggest load of rubbish I’ve ever heard, massively delusional
      • Hindburt was always going to make a reply here, as that's all he has silly replies but zero answers.  Well at least he'll become the first Unicorn immortal. That's something!

    • & ur answer is too blame BA for evythg, yeah ok I think I know who the unicorn is & atm there is no answers to fix this mess of a club
    • I'm not blaming Arthur for everything nor will i  exonerate him like many are.

  • There is no investigation underway. Hadley took not even half a story and ran with it. Apparently the club said they were looking at doing a review with someone like a Michael Maguire. Madge is not involved with the club in any capacity at this point in time.

    • Thanks for the clarification Super.

Is the club in any way looking into this debacle of a season and putting together a plan to move forward?

"Hypothetical question. Say Lomax doesn't go to R360 would we have him back or is he gone forever despite his release saying can't go to league for 4 years "
