Gema service catering group

Would anyone know how long this fraud of a business will be still dishing up the same slop each and every game at parra stadium? Very disappointing. I am happy with the subway in place though, it's a healthier alternative, should the club go this direction with other franchises. Ie wok in Box, what food catering would you be happy with?

  • LOL... Subway is fast, delicious and affordable, but not always a healthy option. If you want the '6 grams or less' of fat etc you need to go for something like veggie/ turkey (something not too heavy) and then not get any sauce. My favorite sub is the meatballs, with sweet onion and southwest sauce. Oh, and don't get the cookies or soft drink if you want to stay healthy.  It's all a bit of a myth. But anyway, what matters is that it's cheap, filling and tastes good + it definitely is healthy than pie and chips!

And yeah, the catering and drinks at Parra stadium are shocking. My mum once missed 20 minutes of a half just getting a coffee. FFS get your sh*t together Pirtek stadium!

  • I am not saying subway is all healthy, you should never serve up microwaved heated pies just breaks all rules of enjoying a pie. The catering needs to be ramped up, I buy else where before a game most times, but unfortunately time on the other hand does not allow that option so Il wait after the game. I am a fussy eater when it comes to quality of food. I guess I can't speak for everyone.
  • Alliance has oporto that would be great
    • Oporto used to be great, these days its shite (Chicken barely resembles chicken and the "hot sauce" is an orange muck with no heat)

Ogalo on the other hand would be good.

  • Subway would take too long to serve customers if you let people choose what they want on each order. Look at how long lines are for just pies. Any food option must be a set item, able to be stored under hot lights, and simply handed over. You cannot afford to have a two minute wait for every person. For example, remember how mcdonalds used to be years ago before they made them fresh for you?

However, if/when the leagues club development goes ahead, maybe they could incorporate fast food restaurants in the area close to the stadium. This would give people a quick option before and after the game.
    • Maccas express would be good.
    • Yobz for your info there is already subway there. The line is too long though.
    • Yeah sorry, I've never visited that subway, I'm usually lining up for beers.
  • I agree. Part of the problem may be the fact that they have very limited operating times. Maybe if the food vendors had another outlet in the neighboring entertainment precinct they could reduce operating costs by running every day?
  • What about the like new KFC concept store in Church Street? Anybody tried this?

"Some players need to get sacked from a club and risk losing it all before they really knuckle down and put in the work.  Why did he get sacked, was it lack of discipline for footy and training or off field issues?"
