It's Game Day!!!
The Eels head to the Gold Coast and look to make it three in a row and pull ahead in their overall record against the Titans.
Since the two sides met in Round One, the Eels have only lost one match and now sit in the top four while the Titans have a 2-2 record putting them in 9th.
Parramatta will be looking to build on their thrashing of St George in Round 4, with the Titans only just beating the Tigers on the buzzer in a terrible match last Thursday.
Former Titan Mitch Rein is set to make his Eels debut from the bench having been in stellar form in Parramatta's reserve grade in recent weeks. Last week against the Dragons he provided three try assists and stole a short range try for himself.
The forecast is for 22 degrees and cloudy at kick off with a low chance of rain but high humidity. It should be a fast track at Cbus Stadium.
Prediction: Eels 24, Titans 10

I'm going for an Eels victory. Eels 34 vs Titans 14. I'm hoping it's not raining and the referees are 50/50 in their calls. Titans will be desperate for a win but the Eels really need to dominate from the start and not allow the Titans in the game.
Did you have some material prepared Grunts? I'd still like to hear it
Mate, it wasn't up before midday. I know you fellas in Queensland are a little slow but come on.
Was expecting a Grunta classic for today. I suppose there's nothing like a bit of competition. GRUNTS snooze you lose. Here are Tyson Fury's winning secrets.
It's been raining all morning here
My daughter made the observation that the Eels seem to play to the standard of the opposition and up until last week i would agree. We play at a higher level against the Storm and seem to drop our level against more average teams like the Titans. I am looking for us to be very disciplined in the first 30, very high completion rate, no stupid penalties and hopefully the forwards will have the Titans on the back foot and then MM & DB cut them up. Let's smash these jokers.
Eels 32 - Titans 6.
She's right mate, we definitely do it.
half time / full time
It's a "should" win, where we have too much artillery.
But, the Titans really need to make a statement (Hulk) and we've lost the last 3 of 4 here (non-Titans' games).
So, the Eels need to minimize defensive and mental lapses, or else we might just be in for a shock, and another roller-coaster.
Titans might want to give Holbrook a 50th game to remember. He's never beaten the Eels, yet.
We need to be careful.
I set my alarm for 12.01am this morning expecting to log in and see Gruntas game day blog after all the noise he made about it through the week.
Kids and I have been considering not watching the game without the Grunta preview we were anticipating. If only The Turtle wasn't banned , least we knew we could rely on him for content.
