GAME 4 vs Tigers

This is shaping to be an intriguing match up.

After playing some of the best clubs it will be interesting what attitude our players will take out against the Tigers.

The tigers are a bit of an unconventional team and it will prove a very different game to that against the bulldogs.

The tigers like to spread the ball and they have plenty of zippy guys and an improving halves combo.

If the Eels can play as well as they did against the Bulldogs there shouldn't be an issue however.

The Tigers will test our line if we allow their fast the play the ball to roll us back.

The possible inclusion of Robbie Farah also adds an interesting element.

If the Eels win it should see us sitting well within the top 8 after four rounds. If we lose we'll be sitting on the edge with 6-8 other clubs.

This game should reveal a lot about the character of our side and how they show up against so called easier teams.

  • Should win but JT is a smart coach and has a point to prove against us
BA knows this is a bigger game than the dogs
    • I agree Will, JT will be all out to win this one.

    • Don't think we have beaten JT yet, must have some coaching credentials.

  • Yes im very interested because i dont think this match will just be a physical grind like the first 3 games. One thing i want to still see is the same intensity and attitude in defence the full 80 mins even if we go up by 20 at one stage
  • the Tigers fans got way too excited by playing 2 poor teams in the first two rounds.
not saying that we should take them lightly.
these games are the danger games that we face.
a team that we are expected to beat somehow has had us nervous at times in the past.

  • I wanna see us smash them to exact revenge for the past 2 Easter clashes where they fluked their way to a win (2 intercepts in 2014, and that Pat Richards kick on one leg last year). Grind them into the ground and put a score on em'.
    • X2
  • It will be a high scoring game I reckon, but I think our defence will be good enough to get us home.
Tigers have been good but they have leaked a lot of points over the first 3 games. My tip eels by 12
  • There is no doubt Parra has a better team than the Tigers but as this weekends results show, if you turn up on game day not focused you get beat by anyone.
  • I hope our Defense holds firm shuts out the young halves from the Tigers and we go on to win it..
