Foxsports have put together future Origin Teams based around the young talent coming through (under 24) and the emerging Blues squad. While NSW lost plenty of years when they had the better team on paper it would be hard to see how they could lose with these two teams meeting each other. Replace Mata’utia on the bench with Brown and it will be complete.

Brown will be 25 next year, so doesn't qualify for the list above. However these types of lists do not tell the full story. When have you ever seen a rep team with players all the same age? Brown should be in contention for a NSW spot next year however.

No way in hell hayne. He didn't perform at club or origin level. It's that mindset that has been sinking us for the last 10 years. Based on performance he is well down the pecking order. I'd pick Jengo and Gutho at CTR before I put him there
