"Wrong. Matt Arthur is playing in the 9 because he earned the right. Mett is a very smart player.
So is Hands and he should be the run on 9 in FG."

You don't blood young players just for the sake of it. For a starters the coach needs to be comfortable that they are ready to take that step.
We've already blooded Niukore & Mahoney this year, Niukore definitely looks a keeper, Mahoney is promising. The only other one who is even remotely ready is Ray Stone, but he plays the same position as Nathan Brown, so he is going to have to bide his time, possibly till next season unless Brown gets injured.
We can't just blood players cause our season is over. There are restrictions due to the salary cap and squad allocations which have prevented some of the changes people keep wanting to see and if they were possible BA would have possible made a couple more changes.
The problem is some names thrown around as deserving a chance are not eligible for NRL side at all, or only eligible if there are not any other main squad players who can play the position available and it needs pre-approval from NRL.
There is story in 1 of papers about broncos facing similar issue with young player kotoni staggs who has been great for them during origin period replacing Roberts but is no longer allowed to play unless more injuries occur and it pre approved.
If you allow it then teams would find ways to boost their depth by stacking lower grades and most sporting organisations have limit on number of available players in a squad who are eligible.
Mohoney can’t even play again now unless 2 of our 3 halves are out injured
Salmon can’t play unless Moses or Norman are out
The future, who knows?
I feel sorry for those fans who r regular season ticket holders because they r the folks that will have to assess the future before spending a lot of their hard earned in renewing their tickets.
If BA remains will they decide that 2018 is merely an aberration & that its worthwhile to renew their tickets. If they r apprehensive is the prospective experience of the new stadium worth the expense in renewing etc. Their decisions will be individually made so who knows what the collective outcome will be for 2019.
To most of us, our opinions r really meaningless. Merely hot air bleating either frustrations &/or annoyance or conversely mindless loyalty.
Some of us will make decisions to buy tickets for some of our home games. Will those decisions collectively register a de facto vote of confidence in BA & the Club or perhaps the lure of a new stadium experience will mask any negative sentiment. Only time will tell.
