It is November so the 2024 is draw is due in the next week or two, let's have fun and guess who we could verse in round 1. Now with 4 clubs already named for Vegas, it narrows it down to a 1-12 chance of getting it right.
Nrl have a habit of double dipping on who we play first at times, Penrith in 2018/19.
I'll go out on a limb and predict Melbourne again. At this stage only round 4 for Easter Monday with Wests is guarenteed.

Imagine a Round 1 bye. Though with the comp set to be 18 then 20, the days of a bye every week is limited, I think the NRL have clubs that are exempt from it. Us being one due to our fan base.
Broadcast ratings are great with Parra all the time which is why we always play at the most inconvenient times.
No way we'd get a Round 1 bye. I predit we will be Thursday night.

Round 1 vs the Broncos, in Suncorp, in the middle of the afternoon, guaranteed 40°c.
5 day turnaround to play the Warriors in NZ on a torrential Friday night and it's -5°c.
Then we play every team coming off the bye for the next 8 rounds. All our home games are either the 6pm Friday or the early Saturday game.
Then we play the Rabbitohs in Indigenous Round.
Then back to back away games vs Melbourne, Penrith and the Roosters.
We're the last team to get a bye.
We're the only team during the state of Origin period not to get a bye at all.
Broncos to play at least 16 games at Suncorp.

Aw, . So you didn't notice that brad had the cushiest draws for years and now that he had a half decent draw in 23 the Unicorns came out and lambasted the nrl - poor things.

Imagine the club had to travel like nq or the Warriors. There's no way ba could pull of a top 8 and the Unicorns would always be making excuses.
Wait and see in 24 when we don't get the best draw and the kids start throwing toys from the cot and other sites start excusing ba once again.
The other site dedicated a whole month of making excuses for brad this year. The facts are that brad is a failure in the finals bar one lucky game
