Stranded on 196.

Our cult hero Fui Fui Moi Moi is currently stranded on 196 1st grade games for the eels.

With 12 rounds remaining (1 bye) will the legend reach the 200 game milestone?

Our last home game is round 24 v Manly. Three games out of the six leading into that final home game are against the Titans (rnd 20) Sharks (rnd 21) Raiders (rnd 22)

I know the team comes first over individual milestones and if there are no further injuries, his selection on form alone isn't warranted and the team keeps winning and finals bound (BA would not what any unnecessary changes to disrupt the 17) unfortunately "The Steam Train" may just pull up short of Parramatta station.

I would love nothing more than Fui to play in the Round 24 last home game against Manly in front of a no doubt sell out crowd to honour him and hear that synomous chant go up one last time with each and every last hit up he makes in the blue and gold.

  • he still offers more than allgood, so if a few more injuries occur we may yet see him back in FG. Its a long shot but by all reports he still going strong for wenty. Credit to the man!

    • Fui and Allgood are totally different players, the emergence of Junior Paulo and Pauli Pauli is what has cost Fui his spot.   And the way they are going he will struggle to get back, Fui is one of my all time Parra players but we shouldn't be picking for him just to get to 200 games.  It's not the why Arthur operates and i'm sure Fui would want to get there on merit.

  • I like to see fui on our last home game so he can say good bye the way he wants

    • You said it for all of us Paul.

    • Agree

  • I believe Fui can still offer alot coming of bench. Please give him his 4. I know someone who played in Swans GF win and retired on 199 games a few years back. It bothered him.
    • * off bench.
    • Agree Parrakeet, not sure about 4 games because its about whats best for the club, but i dont think he would let us down, at least he deserves a huge send off, or if injury happens i'd love to see him get 4 games.

  • Agree Bert, Fui deserves a huge send off, he needs to be thanked for his proud work for the club, and he is still good enough to be bought in for a game or a few more, im really sad he might not get the send off he deserves.

  • Between injuries and suspensions, Lussick and Allgood have been "disruptive' to the team.

Fui off the bench will have immediate impact while resting those "tired" legs.

He would also inspire and guide our young forwards (even though they are playing well of late) in those 1% ers that count.

I wish he could crack 300 games. Go Fuuuu!

"I think the disappointing part for Pensini was the poor defence last week against Melbourne. Yes everyone was shit. But he missed a one on one tackle for Leo to score. He also got burned in the frist half by Leo but Iongi saved the day."
