Jennings is not the reason we are getting rid of players. BA has been contacted by players wanting to play under him and he's in the reshuffle stage to get the players in positions he wants while keeping within the cap.
He's also a decent bloke so if Gordon's not in next years plans and he has an opportunity to go to the Roosters then why not let him. He did right by us but we have backups at FB.
There is a plan, we just aren't privy to it yet. Patience is needed.

I'm not sure what you're expecting Anthony? Do you think that to have a successful team you just have to sit on your hands and wait? Things are constantly moving and you have to move with it.
If it frustrates you that much maybe you should go visit the local rub and tug.
PS don't have a 49ers Jersey but I'm also not one to give up on my team. If you don't see it ever changing I hear the Sharks are the new team to follow for frustrated ex Eels fans.
Anthony you must have some sort of insight right there because every coach that I have seen interviewed since Hayne quit the 49'ers has said that they would like him in their team.
More to the point you need to have faith in the coach. He has obviously come to the same conclusion as everybody else and that is that the Eels will not make the 8 in 2016. Therefore he has started planning for 2017 which is what you would expect a proffessional coach to do.
He obviously has a plan for next year and unnecessarily wasting cap space on a failed 2016 season is not part of it. He can use any money that he has spare this year to front end contracts therefore saving cap space for 2017
I think as an Eels fan we want success and we want it now. 30 years of failure hurts. Too many times we have said 'Maybe next year'. Sadly we're now saying it before the season is half over.
