Front row next year

We are going to need to develop/buy one who puts a dent in the line and could be an enforcer. I think the few we currently have are clones of one another, i.e mannah/Alvaro/wicks. Question is do we have the cap space and who is out there?

  • Losing Junior has put a massive dent in our go forward but he's not worth the trouble and money he wants to you not much on the market at the moment I just hope arthur can pull a rabbit out of his hat here..Twal is not ready yet.... It's a massive six months ahead for Parramatta for retention and recruitment hope the room is it true that Gordon is going he's been absolutely rubbish ..
    • He didn't dent the Rabbits or the Storm. He started running sideways and playing like a half.

Now that opposition players have seen that, they'll go extra hard at him.

But we do need a prop who's in a different mould. BAs probably already down that road.
  • I I will just wait to see what BA does in relation to our front row for next year. The man has proven he can build a team,I have cofindence he will address the issue .
  • I don't even rate Twal, he isn't a prop like junior he is another Alvaro. He is nowhere near the size of Junior, he is just another prop with a workrate.
    • Agreed from what I have seen Twal is in the same mould as the rest a prop with a high workrate. He does play big minutes.

I watched Josh Aloiai play last night and at other times during the year. He seems to be getting better and is a real contributor to the West Tigers.

  • he's only contracted this year to the tigers.

    • Just been resigned 2 years tigers mate
      • Bumma.  Thought the west pack last night did well. While the horses were without a lot of their primary players, they did have a most of their pack intact & tigs were without their main two forwards.

        • All is in hand col ,surprises around corner , big build up in forwards happening and not lazy juniors type
  • Have a look at the Broncos, Storm, Sharks, Cowboys. None of them have a monster prop like Jnr, they have solid workhorse props.

1. Who would you like to see get flogged in Vegas - Gutherson or D. Brown. Or maybe they don't concern you and are only focused on us. For mine its Gutherson, I've never liked him off the park. Sure on the park he gave everything, but his contract…
